Scope & Content: The fonds consists of records relating to L.P. Greene's work on various boards, committees, and task forces, predominantly pertaining to fisheries, both non-native and native, from 1967-1995. Includes correspondence, legal documents, reports, invoices, photographs, press releases, personal documents such as a Canadian Army Certificate of Military Qualification, a record of pictures taken with a camera, Westview School Parent Committee minutes, and a life insurance policy. There are personal notes hand-written by Greene, and documents related to Cubbon Senior Citizen Complex in Victoria. The fonds also contains textual records from Dr. and Mrs. L. M. (Mitch) Greene (Paddy's parents) related to the 1967 United Fishermen and Allied Workers' Union (UFAWU) strike. Includes correspondence, agendas, minutes, a memorandum of agreement, telegrams, union agreements, lists, bulletins, and constitution, reports, hand-written notes, and radio transcripts.
