Scope & Content: The fonds consists of correspondence, notes and reports of Harveys relating to his activities with the Prince Rupert Chamber of Commerce and as president of the B.C. Chamber of Commerce, 1951 to 1960. Fonds also includes plans of the Digby Island Airport, manuscript of "Story of a Firm", the cashbooks and trustbooks (1908-1913) of Williams and Manson law firm, and photographs of Ruth Harvey's family when she was a child. It also includes maps of the Electoral District of Skeena, 1931, Annette Island Road Map and Mileage Table, A.I.L.F. No. 159, 4 March 1942, International Boundary between United States and Canada from Cape Muzon to Mount St. Elias, 1923, court proceedings in the matter of the "Grounding of the Motor Vessel "Queen of Prince Rupert" on August 11, 1967, a report entitled "The Bulkley Valley" by Nell Dockrill, correspondence, report from the Prince Rupert Drydock Committee, a portion (copy) of a typed manuscript entitled "My Memoirs a Lifetime in British Columbia" by Wiggs O'Neill, and minute and shareholder books of the Prince Rupert Publishing Company Limited and the Terrace Club Limited, a brief on the proposed airport on Digby Island, negatives of fish boats, Invercan No. 2 and No. 4, fish plants, and Canadian Fish & Cold Storage plant in Seal Cove, postcards from Uncle Newton, Cow Bay, Rushbrook Floats,and the waterfront.
