Scope & Content: Item consists of the wreck of the "Polar" which crashed on a trip from Mexico to Siberia via Prince Rupert. The plane was piloted by Clarence O. Prest and serviced by mechanician L. M. Bach, both of whom survived the crash. Caption just below the center of the photo reads "The Wreck of the 'Polar Bear' Prince Rupert. B.C. Sep 28. 1921. Photo W.W.W."
