Scope & Content: Item consists of Mr. McLean smoking a pipe at the 300 Block of 5th Avenue West. McLean worked for the city then opened up a butcher shop on the 700 Block of 3rd Avenue West. Handwritten annotation on recto of copy 2 reads: "Worked for City - Then Opened Butcher Shop. 700 Blk. 3rd. Ave. W. Mr. McLean - 300 Blk. 5th. Ave. W. 1935." Stamped annotation on verso of copy 2 reads: "Photo by Jack Wrathall Rupert, B. C."
