Scope & Content: Item consists of four Douglas Cloudster model biplanes at Seal Cove as part of a trip around the world by the U.S. Air Service. The planes had just flown from Seattle to Prince Rupert overnight. One of the planes crash landed in Alaska and another landed in the sea between Iceland and Greenland. Caption on the bottom right side of the photo reads "1925."
