Scope & Content: Item consists of three Douglas Cloudster model biplanes at Seal Cove as part of a U.S. Air Service round the world flight. The planes had flown overnight from Seattle to Prince Rupert. One of the planes crashed in Alaska and another landed in the sea between Iceland and Greenland. Handwritten annotation on recto of copy 1 reads: "1925." Handwritten annotation on recto of copies 2 and 3 reads: "Seal Cove Prince Rupert. U.S. Air Service Round World Flight. Apr. 6 - 1924." Stamped annotation on verso of copy 2 reads: "Photo by Jack Wrathall Prince Rupert, B. C."
