Scope & Content: Item consists of the "Polar Bear" airplane being ferried across the Skeena River in a dugout canoe. The "Polar Bear" was an airplane to be flown from Mexico to Siberia by pilot Clarence O. Prest. The plane was serviced by mechanician L. M. Bach. In the foreground H. H. Little can be seen standing and two children can be seen sitting next to a canoe.
