Scope & Content: Item consists of the "Polar Bear" airplane in a dugout canoe having just been ferried across the Skeena River. The "Polar Bear" was an airplane to be flown from Mexico to Siberia by pilot Clarence O. Prest. The plane was serviced by mechanician L. M. Bach. The man standing on the beach on the right is H. H. Little.
