Scope & Content: Collection includes photographs depicting the families, friends and co-workers of the Bill Wilson-Murray and Thomas Peddie families. Pictured are Bill Wilson-Murray, Kay (Kathleen) Smith (nee Watson), Capt. Bowen-Colthurst, Jennie Wilson-Murray (nee Peddie), dentist Dr. Brown, Hylda Wilson-Murray, Ian Wilson-Murray, Grace and Jim Wood, Chris and John Currie, Harry Birch, Cathy Finlayson, Thomas Peddie with his wife and children Ida, Sonnie, Margaret, Jennie and Olga. Other photographs depict the Cape St. James light station, a snow plow on the train track, train trestle being constructed, people lawn bowling near CN Station in Prince Rupert, Armistice Day float for a parade, watershed, Falls River Plant, Northland Dock and C.N. dock.

Note: Title based on donor of the photographs. Jennie Cave-Browne-Cave was the daughter of Thomas Peddie who came to Prince Rupert to be the principal at King Edward High School in 1926. Previously he graduated in Edinburgh before taking a job in Terrace, B.C. as principal at the Kitsumkalum High School. His daughter Jennie married Bill Wilson-Murray. The family doesn't appear in the phone directory after 1930. Bill arrived in Prince Rupert in the 1920s and after working for the City Treasury was hired by Northern B.C. Power. He and Janet lived at 426 Bowser Street. Bill was a veteran of the Boer War and travelled to meet Queen Elizabeth II in Terrace on July 18, 1959.
