The arch reads "We Welcome Canada's Greatest Son to Canada's Newest City." Annunciation Catholic Church can be seen in the background. Handwritten annotation on recto reads: "2nd Ave. & 6th. St. Pr. Rupert. 1910." Stamped annotation on verso reads: "Photo by Jack Wrathall Prince Rupert, B. C."
