A Standard Oil building, B.C. Packers Ltd., Edward Lipsett Ltd. and the Prince Rupert Drydock and Shipyard can be seen in the background. Handwritten annotation on recto of copies 1, 2 and 4 reads: "Fishing Boats Prince Rupert BC. Photo by J Wrathall." Handwritten annotation on copy 4 reads: "Gillnet Fleet. Cow Bay. 1948."
