Scope & Content: Item consists of a parade making its way down the 200 block of 3rd Avenue West. The parade includes a float from Standard Oil Co. of B.C. Ltd. featuring people wearing traditional Indigenous clothing and a float shaped like a canoe. Bill Scuby Furs and the City of Prince Rupert telephones can be seen in the background. Handwritten annotation on recto of copy 2 reads: “Parade. 200 Blk. 3rd. Ave. W. Pr. Rupert. B.C. Aug. 2. 1958.” Stamped annotation on verso of copy 2 reads: “Photo by Jack Wrathall Prince Rupert, B. C.”
