Scope & Content: Item consists of Carnival Queen Lorraine Youngman sitting on a throne on the front steps of the Prince Rupert Courthouse steps on Market Place with Ruth Jerstad, Betty Pullen, Greg McLeod and three other children. Youngman can also be seen wearing a crown and holding a sceptre. Handwritten annotation on recto of copy 2 reads: "1. Ruth Jerstad. 2. Betty Pullen. 3. Lorraine Youngman. Carnival Queen. 1947." Stamped annotation on verso of copy 2 reads: "Photo by Jack Wrathall Prince Rupert, B. C."
