The view includes the Knox Hotel and King George Hotel. Handwritten annotation on recto of copy 2 reads: "Knox Hotel. Commercial Hotel. King George Hotel. 9 & 1000 Blks - 1st. & 2nd. Ave's. Pr. Rupert. 1916." Stamped annotation on verso of copy 2 reads: "Photo by Jack Wrathall Prince Rupert, B. C."
