Scope & Content: Photograph depicts the view looking down on the 300 block of 2nd and 3rd Avenue West at 2nd Street taken from 4th Avenue West. The view shows Super Valu, Eatons, North Star Bottling, Dr. Kergin's office and the two buildings beside it can be seen with Pillsbury house and CN House on Pacific Place, and the Royal Canadian Legion in the distance. Handwritten annotation on recto or copies 1, 2 and 3 reads: "Prince Rupert, B.C." Handwritten annotation on recto of copy 2 reads: "2nd. 3rd. Ave's & 2nd St. 1951." Stamped annotation on verso of copies 2 and 3 reads: "Photo by Jack Wrathall Prince Rupert, B. C."
