Scope & Content: Series is a collection of photographs taken during 1942 and 1943 in Port Edward and Prince Rupert. The Port Edward photographs depict Native housing and the Midland Regiment kitchen, Nelson Bros. Fish Plant, Pte. Johnson and Pte. Tempelton beside the powerhouse, brush clearing for army camps, tanks and CNR tracks, B.C. Packers warehouse, US Army ramp being built, the Nelson Bros. store and "The Skunk", a diesel train that travelled between Port Edward and Prince Rupert. There is a photograph of Bilmor, taken from Zanardi Bridge, and the Prince Rupert photographs include the Winnipeg Grenadier camp at the end of 11th Ave. East, Rushbrook Heights in the background of the Midland Camp at 11th Ave. East and Pte Fitzgerald of the Mildlad Regt. on Frederick Street with the Midland camp behind him.
